The tallest Tudor gatehouse in the country, built by Henry the 1st Lord Marney, Lord Privy Seal to Henry VIII. Built in a flamboyant Italianate style with fine terracotta work, formal gardens and surrounding park. Visit the medieval barn which houses a display of farm machinery. Tea room, shop and children's play areas. Look out for the effigy tombs of Lord Marney and his son.
