High Woods country park is 330 acres (134 hectares) of attractive landscape including woodland, grassland, farmland and wetland. Numerous footpaths provide an opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife. Facilities include angling, Visitor Centre and easy access trail. The visitor centre houses displays on the natural history and history of the area together with a small shop and toilets facilities.
