Site of Specific Scientific Interest. Salt marshes rich in overwintering wildfowl and wading birds.
Copt Hall Marshes are on the remote and attractive Blackwater Estuary. They are part of the Blackwater Site of Specific Scientific Interest. The salt marshes are rich in overwintering wildfowl and wading birds. Grass headland paths have been created on the farmland behind the marshes, giving access to the sea wall. Access is restricted on some paths during winter. Please keep dogs under close control.
