NWT Hickling Broad is the largest of all the Norfolk Broads & it harbours a spectacular variety of plants & animals.
There are both gentle walks under wide skies for the casual visitor & fascinating study for those interested in swallowtail butterflies, bitterns, marsh harriers & other rare Broadland wildlife. The two hour Water Trail runs from mid-May to mid-September, takes you into the quiet backwaters of the Broad & gives access to the Tree Tower, from which you get the most fabulous views of Broadland. Open all year, daily. Visitors centre open 1 Apr to mid Sept, 1000-1700.
