A nature reserve with grassy heath, pine plantation, meres and associated wildlife. There is also a self-guided nature trail and access to the hide.
Weeting Heath Nature Reserve. With their piercing yellow eyes, long yellow legs and knobbly knees, it's no wonder that NWT Weeting Heath is popular for its extraordinary looking stone curlews. But there's lots of other unusual wildlife here too, particularly birds and butterflies.
Opening Hours
Open daily early April to late August 7.00am to dusk. Visitor Centre - 10.00am-5.00pm April to August. At certain times the centre may be closed briefly if the staff are called onto the nature reserve.
