A light and spacious family house in quiet rural surroundings with a friendly homely feel.

We are careful to keep Marsh House as a family home rather than a larger more impersonal guest house. We normally have no more than 5 guests but have a comfortable 6th put-u-up bed for couples who want their child to sleep with them.

All bedrooms have garden views, particularly important as we are surrounded by a beautiful verdant garden giving a feeling of peace and tranquility. All have ensuite bathrooms with hot water available all day for showers. We have installed a water-softener to erase the local hard water and wi-fi so guests can use their laptops in their bedroom. Sky and DVD are available at request.

Breakfast is served by a patio door overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Breakfast consists of a full english breakfast, or an alternatively a continental breakfast of cereals and toast, fruits and yoghurt. We always serve freshly made cafetiere coffee and a substantial choice of teas.

Many guests base themselves at Marsh House for a holiday base as it is easily accessible from the M40, M4, A34 and A4074. There are many attractions to see for one-day visits. We also have many business visitors who work in Wallingford, Oxford, Reading, Didcot or the surrounding area
