If you are looking for B&B accommodation in or close to Henley-on-Thames, then why not try Orchard Dene Cottage Bed & Breakfast.
skip Less than two miles from the town centre, just off the main Oxford road at the entrance to the beautiful Stonor valley, this is a typical brick-and-flint cottage (part-18th century), with all the comfort you'd expect in an old family home.
Orchard Dene Cottage is the ideal place to stay if you want a warm welcome, a good bed and a hearty full English breakfast!
Lower Assenden is a tiny village set at the bottom of the Stonor valley, one of the most fascinating routes through the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Orchard Dene Cottage is built in traditional brick-and-flint style, with a core that is probably over 250 years old; the surrounding garden has been created by Ginny and Robin Batchelor-Smith, and the country lane beside it carries more horses and their riders than motor traffic.
Our bedrooms, one single and one double, are not the largest you've ever stayed in, but they are comfortable, well-appointed, and warm in winter. The single room has TV and a washbasin. We have a 'no smoking' policy in the bedrooms.
Prices per room**, to include full English breakfast:
Double: £50 (single occupancy £35)
Single: £30
**For Henley Royal Regatta & Henley Festival Weeks (late June/July): £35 per person, per night, for either room for a minimum of three consecutive nights.
