The town offers a full range of "ethnic eating" opportunities.

Indian, Chinese, Thai and Italian restaurants nestle alongside pubs, tearooms and traditional English fare.

Thame is also the nearest South Oxfordshire town to Raymond Blanc´s Le Manoir aux Quat´Saisons in nearby Great Milton. This is set in a beautiful 15th century stone gable manor. It has its own two-acre kitchen garden in which it grows 90 types of vegetable and over 70 types of herb for use in the restaurant´s kitchen.

The Old Fisherman at Shabbington is a popular stream-side pub with gardens and The Birdcage Inn and Kathy´s Bistro in the Cornmarket has been featured in the Sunday Telegraph magazine.
