The river is undoubtedly a major attraction in Wallingford, but it is also popular for the wealth of antiques shops that adorn its ancient streets.

Tradition is maintained by a St.George´s Day parade, mayor-making ceremony and annual carnival.

Wallingford Museum, Cholsey and Wallingford Railway, the Castle Leisure Centre and theatrical productions at the Corn Exchange also attract a number of visitors during the course of a year.
