The gardens are situated on part of the site of Wallingford Castle which was built by William the Conqueror and demolished by Oliver Cromwell in 1652.
The remains of St Nicholas' Priory are a feature of the gardens which are a haven of beauty and tranquility.
LOCATION: The gardens are located on Bear Lane, Castle Street, Wallingford.
ADMISSION: there is no charge for admission.
EVENTS: there are band concerts during the summer on some Sundays - -telephone for details.

1 April to 31 May - 10.00am until 4.00pm (Weekends 10.00am until 6.00pm)
1 June to 30 September - 10.00am until 5.00pm (Weekends 10.00am until 6.00pm)
