Once a 12th Century Augustinian priory but now a house of some note.
Once a 12th Century Augustinian priory but now a house of some note. Items for which we are renowned inlude a spring or font from which the house derives its name. Also famous for its magnificent trees, a tributary of the River Test and walled gardens with the national collection of old-fashioned roses. All of these features provide year round interest including, of course, the house!
