Situated on the edge of Horsey Mere, this windmill is 4 storeys high and the gallery affords splendid views across the marshes.
An early 20thC wind powered grainage mill standing on the edge of Horsey Mere - part of the Norfolk Broads an internationally important wetland. The mill contains displays on natural and local history as well as diagrams of the mill workings. The mill was severely damaged by lightning in 1943 and was subsequently restored by the National Trust.
