A Night to Remember

A place to celebrate
In Peterborough we've got great nightlife, a full programme of national and international events, a lively arts scene and the UK's biggest undercover beer festival!

At night-time you'll never be bored. Head for our pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs or try a taste of culture at one of our theatres offering music, film and drama.

The Great Northern Hotel hosts top-of-the-bill jazz nights or you may prefer a comedy act, a classical concert or a recital in our cathedral?

Families will also enjoy our ice-rink, ten-pin bowling and multi-screen cinema - each with easy parking on site.

Or if you fancy a flutter, how about a night at the dogs? Our greyhound stadium has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with good food and drink facilities so you can enjoy a pleasant meal in our air-conditioned restaurant overlooking the track.

Peterborough is also a mecca for major events, from huge outdoor pop concerts to day-time country fairs and animal shows.

In fact the East of England Showground attracts over 700,000 visitors a year to large-scale events. Our own Peterborough Festival in June which kicks off with a lively Carnival Parade with bands and dancers then offers two weeks of open air concerts, recitals and various other activities.
