Grimsthorpe Castle
An architecturally stunning treasure house with beautiful contents. The castle is the centrepiece of the estate. It is a large quadrangular house with a central courtyard. Inside you can see the collections of paintings, furniture, tapestries and objects d'art. 3000 acres of landscaped parklands and extensive gardens.
There are guided tours of the castle and a free minibus tour of the park. Throughout the season there are special events and lectures. There is also a woodland adventure playground.

The Castle, park and gardens close for the winter on 28 September 2006. They will open again on Sunday 1 April 2007.
