skip Blaxhall is a very quiet, unspoilt village located in the Suffolk Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the Ship you can walk or cycle straight into the forest of Blaxhall Common and Tunstall Forest beyond. Snape Maltings, the home of the Aldeburgh Festival, is but 1 mile away. Here you will find exhibitions, shops, restaurants and cafes. Further a field the coast is some 6 miles away with the unspoilt seaside towns of Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Woodbridge, with its historic town centre, tide mill, riverside and boatyards is 9 miles away.
The Ship has 4 self-contained twin rooms. All have en suite shower rooms, TV and full heating. Each room has a small kitchenette and we provide all you need to prepare for yourselves a generous Continental breakfast. The rooms are available 7 days a week all year round. The cost for a twin room is from £45.00 per night and in low season only for single occupancy from £30.00.
The Ship Restaurant is open at weekends and there is an ever changing menu of quality homemade dishes. All dinners are served with fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden. To complement your dinner there is a choice of fine wines and real ales from the local breweries.
