Stag Hall dates from the 1870s, growing over the years, but retaining much of its country cottage character.
skip One of its chief charms is its location, set in its own one acre grounds, deep in glorious Chiltern beech woods.
We are 5 miles from Henley and within easy reach of Oxford and other Thamesside towns. London is quickly reached by train via Reading and Heathrow is 45 mins by road.
Stag Hall is an ideal base for walking, biking, riding or just enjoying the countryside in the friendly and comfortable atmosphere of our family home.
From the traffic lights in the centre of Henley head straight up the hill past the town hall (Gravel Hill signed to Badgemore Park). Keep on this road until you have to give way at a T-junction, about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto the B481 towards Nettlebed. Just after Highmoor church (about 0.5 mile) turn left towards Stoke Row. Keep on this road till you reach Stoke Row. Turn left at the village green (signposted 'Kingwood Common'). Stag Hall is 0.25m along this road on the left at the top of the hill, look out for the white picket fence and antlers on the gatepost.
