From the A1 Travel along the A1 until you reach the Plough Inn at Beal. Turn WEST (inland) directly opposite the turn off for Holy Island (the road is signposted Kentstone). Follow the road up one side of a hill, down the other, past Kentstone farm and keep going until you reach a T junction at which you have to give way. Turn right and then immediately left. A short way along this road at the first bend you will see the Hunting Hall sign on your left. The farm road bears to the left at the bottom of the hill. Please drive with extreme caution, this is a blind bend. Follow the road up the hill and to the right into the farm. Drive straight up the farmyard and park on the gravel at the top. Newt Cottage is through the wooden gate on the left hand side and the first cottage you come to.
