Since October 2002, David & Karen Scott have worked to create a cosy & welcoming establishment, which is now hugely popular. The Swan has achieved a widespread reputation for its fabulous food, ales, hospitality and service.

The emphasis is very clearly on high quality - from the superior accommodation & furnishings, to the excellent & unpretentious food prepared from only fresh ingredients. The impeccably kept real ales make The Swan a favoured destination for those who enjoy sampling varied beers.

Everything at The Swan is homemade - from the Chef´s pate & onion marmalade to the desserts, ice creams & even the chocolate truffles served with coffee.

The accommodation at The Swan is of an exceptional standard. All rooms are beautifully furnished and are named after real ales. Attention to detail is fabulous, exhibited in the individually sourced furniture and accessories, as well as the sumptuous towels & linens. You will even find a decanter of port & homemade shortbread in your room, in addition to all the usual facilities.
