Clifftop Cromer is noted for its pier and crabs, whilst at Sheringham, ride on a steam train to the antiques centre of Holt. Visit the port of Wells-next-the-Sea, the pilgrimage centre of Little Walsingham and Lord Nelson´s birthplace at The Burnhams. Just inland are the traditional market towns of Aylsham, Dereham, Fakenham and Wymondham. For seaside fun, head to the sandy beaches, colourful gardens and family entertainment at Hunstanton and Great Yarmouth.
Discover maritime heritage at King´s Lynn, a port and market town dating back to the 12th C. Close by is Royal Sandringham, and the home of Norfolk Lavender. Head south to visit the nature reserves, historic churches and waterways of The Fens.
Breckland is a unique landscape of farmland, heath and Britain´s largest lowland pine forest - alongside the towns of Swaffham, Thetford and Watton. To the east of the county is Diss with its mere. Visit Bressingham´s famous gardens, and Banham Zoo´s rare species.
