Stalham
Peaceful little market town on the edge of The Broads. Still a centre for boat building, Stalham has pretty Georgian houses, shops, inns and cafes. The large 15th C. church contains a magnificent richly carved font. The staithe, once busy with the wherry trade, is built on an artifical cut (or dyke) leading from the river.
