Coggeshall Grange Barn

One of the oldest surviving timber framed barns in Europe dating from around 1240, and originally part of a Cistercian Abbey.

One of the oldest surviving timber framed barns in Europe dating from around 1240, and originally part of a Cistercian Abbey. Restored in the 1980s. It now contains a collection of farm carts and wagons.

Barn can be hired for private functions.

Open 1 Apr-14 Oct, Tue, Thu, Sun, Bank Hols (except Christmas period), 1400-1700.

Not open in winter.
