Lavenham Guildhall of Corpus Christi

Local Museum in a historical building which traces the medieval cloth trade.

An impressive timber-framed building dating from the early 16thC. Originally the hall of the Guild of Corpus Christi. Contains local history museum, unique displays of 700 years of the medieval woollen cloth trade, working loom, walled garden with unique dye plants, parish lock-up and mortuary. National Trust gift shop and tearooms.
