This fascinating house, its origins dating from the Middle Ages, contains among its treasures the famous 17th Century collection of paintings of the Court of Charles ll by Van Dyck and Lely, also the celebrated ´Mares and Foals´ by George Stubbs. 17th Century Church with Wren style interior. Formal gardens, river walk. Also watermill built in the 1670's and rebuilt in 1731 as a gothic church. Craft shop and tearoom.
