A livestock farm, located on a scheduled Roman site, maintaining breeding groups of rare and friendly farm animals. Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and poutry. There are walks between the paddocks , along the river bank and beside the lake. Calves, piglets, lambs, kids and chicks are on view in season. There are picnic areas and a visitor centre providing information on rare breeds and the Roman site, together with home cooked refreshments, gifts and cards. We hold special events, when appropriate, such as shearing, foot trimming, lambing and calving.
