Christchurch Mansion

The "jewel in the crown" of Ipswich's historic past - a beautiful Tudor Mansion.

This beautiful Tudor mansion built in 1548 is set in more than 65 acres of attractive parkland a short walk from the town centre. Furnished as an English country house, with excellent collections of furniture and ceramics, it is perhaps best known for housing the most important collection of works by John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough outside of London.
