The theatre is a 505 seat auditorium which offers a varied programme of arts and entertainment events throughout the year. From classical drama and a wide range of dance performances to an eclectic musical programme and all time family favourites, the Civic Theatre has something for everyone!

The Cramphorn Theatre adjoins the Civic, and presents a programme of small scale touring theatre, music productions and dance. The Cramphorn is also home to the 'Free Lunchtime Concerts', a regular programme of music ranging from jazz to classical, performed between 1pm and 2pm every Wednesday.
