Didcot Railway Centre

Didcot Railway Centre is home to a fine collection of Great Western steam locomotives and carriages.

It is based around the original engine shed and a typical country branchline has been created, where you can ride in the 1930s carriages on steamdays. There is also a re-creation of Brunel's original broad guage railway with a replica of the 'Fire Fly' locomotive dating from 1840.
