Moulsham Mill is a substantial and imposing Grade II listed building. A Mill has now stood on the site for over 1000 years and is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086. Moulsham Mill last ran as a working mill in the 1970's and was renovated in 1983.
Today the mill is a fast developing retail craft and business centre, housing approximately 60 licensees. A variety of crafts including pottery, lace, jewellery, cards, pyrography, cushions, paintings, ethnic clothing, rag dolls, decoupage, photographic restoration, dolls houses, salt dough and furniture restoration, hats, candles and picture framing. The mill also has a hairdressers, tearooms, and osteopath. Courses are held, for example, in lace making, Alexander technique. Conference room facilities are available all year round, in a light and airy room with views over the meadow. Free parking available for customers on site.
