Small hilltop church built by King Canute in 1020, Grade 2 Star Listed. Marvellous views across Crouch Valley. Unique features - Danish flag, Viking longship model, James II coat of arms, medieval scratch dial. Admission free, donations welcomed. Open Easter to end of Sep, 1400-1600 daily except Sun, by appointment at other times. Guided tours available for groups. Sunday service 0930.
