The museum is housed in the original Airfield Control Tower and offers a unique collection reflecting the entire history of this established military base, dating back to before the 2nd World War. The museum houses a fascinating collection of exhibits, photographs and documents gathered over many years. The ground floor is devoted to the RAF, USAF and British Army, whilst the 2nd floor is dedicated to the 91st Bomb Group (Heavy) of the United States 8th Air Force. The base also being the home of the B17 ´Memphis Belle´.
