The museum draws together an impressive collection of exhibits to tell the story of Charles Burrell and Son, a name once famous throughout the world.
The large exhibits are housed on the ground floor, together with a series of re-created workshops with original tools and machinery. Up in the gallery, a series of photographs, letters and documents tell the story of the company and of the Burrell family.

The museum opened in 1991 and is housed in the former Paint Shop.
