Christchurch Mansion has been at the heart of Ipswich for over 400 years. On display are stunning, fine and decorative art works including the largest public collection of paintings by Constable and Gainsborough outside of London.
Period rooms are represented, from the sumptuous Georgian Saloon to the more humble Victorian wing with its display of children's toys and dolls house.
The Mansion is also home to the Wolsey Art Gallery which hosts an exciting programme of art shows by well-known painters and sculptors, as well as by up and coming artists.
The Wolsey Art Programme is a series of popular family activities - a chance for budding artists of all ages to work with professionals to create art works based on works displayed within the galleries.
