Gainsborough´s House is the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough RA (1727-88). The Georgian townhouse, with an attractive walled garden, displays more of the artist´s work than any other gallery. The collection is shown together with 18thC furniture and memorabilia in chronological sequence following the artist's career.
As well as an exceptional collection, the House offers visitors a lively programme of art exhibitions.
Group prices are Adult/Conc £2.80, Child/Student £1.50.
