HMS Ganges Association Museum

The history of HMS Ganges contained in 1 large room, museum with photographs, artefacts and documentation.

The museum is an old building of the original HMS Ganges, Stone Frigate which closed in 1976. It was a training establishment for boys of the ages 15-16 years and was closed when the school leaving age rose to 16. There are still boys who trained there serving in the modern navy.
