Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum

Set in the picturesque Waveney Valley, this museum was founded in 1972 and covers over 7 acres.

It features over 50 historic aircraft and a unique collection of memoribilia, uniforms, models, instruments, and equipment, paintings and personal collections. Special themed displays include Boulton and Paul, Civil Defence Corps, Project Anvil, Decoy Sites, Aerial Photography, Aviation Wreckology, Link Trainers, Radio and Radar.

Incorporationg the themed museums of RAF Bomber Command; 446th Bomb Group USAAF; Royal Observer Corps, (6 Group); and his RAF Air-Sea Rescue & Coastal Command. A Dorman Long blister hangar, the ex-Ipswich Airport Boulton and Paul hangar complex. The 'Adair' Walk raised broadwalk nature trail leads down to the bank of the river Waveney. Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is an ideal attraction for visitors of all ages, whatever the weather.
