The museum is housed in an impressive 1920s building set inabout 7 acres of grass, trees and shrub beds. The RiverBlackwater runs through the site offering riverside picnicareas. A large triple-expansion steam engine is currently ondisplay as the main exhibit with many other sources of poweron show. Eventually, there will be samples of all sources ofpower and other items in the museum to educate andentertain.
