Displays include a Mirrlees Bickerton and Day diesel engine, a 5-cylinder, blast injection, 250bhp working unit and a Vicker-Petter, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke diesel. Also a 1947 Allen T47 - 2 Stroke, a 1936 3 cylinder R60 Allen, a 1930 single cylinder Ruston, a 1939 Allen, a Tangye single cylinder horizontal hot-bulb and 2-small Lister engines. The museum offers visitors an insight into the struggle to control drainage waters in the fens, and includes collections of artefacts and photographs, aswell as interactive media.
