Royal Air Force Defence Radar Museum

Housed in an original 1942 building and featuring the Cold War Operations Room in use up to 1993. Display rooms re-creating the radar control of the Battle of Britain.Nightfighters during the Blitz, radar support to allied invasions of World War II and the air defence of the UK during the Cold War. Surface to air missiles and space defence. Other displays include radar engineering, communications and a gallery of original RAF unit badges.History of the development and use of radar in the UK and overseas from 1935 to date.
