ZSL Whipsnade Zoo

ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is one of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks.

Set in 600 acres of beautiful parkland on the Chiltern Hills, north of London, the Zoo is home to more than 2500 animals, many of which are endangered in the wild.

Escape with your family on a big natural adventure & watch tigers, elephants, hippos & giraffes in huge outdoor enclosures. Get closer to Lions of the Serengeti, check out the cheeky chimpanzees & see the very rare baby greater one horned rhino & baby Asian elephant. As of Easter 2007, you can also go in with the Lemurs & see these stunning primates as they go about their business on their island. You can drive your car round the scenic park or hop on the free Safari bus. Alternatively, experience the Jumbo Express train for an exciting adventure (charges apply). Wallabies & Mara's are free ranging across the park & you are sure to catch sight of them during your visit.

With daily live talks, demonstrations, feeds & beautiful picnic areas, there's something for everyone at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
