Danbury & Lingwood Commons

Danbury Common is composed of a mixture of woodland, scrub, grassland and heath.

These 2 commons are on the highest point of the gravel ridge running between Maldon and Chelmsford. Danbury Common is composed of a mixture of woodland, scrub, grassland and heath. Napoleonic defences are evidence of Danbury´s military past.
