An award-winning recreated Victorian mansion, the original home of Cecil Higgins. Rooms are displayed to give a lived-in atmosphere including a bedroom with furniture designed by William Burges (1827-1881). The adjoining gallery has outstanding collections of ceramics, glass and watercolours and prints, and Thomas Lester collection of Bedfordshire Maltese lace. Exhibitions of watercolours, prints and drawings are changed regularly. Please phone before your visit.
