The Club is affiliated to The Grand National Archery Society. Archery is encouraged in all its forms, and the club accommodate archers of all standards from beginners upwards.

The Club members shoot mostly for relaxation, but teams are fielded in local competitions. The Club offer an introductory session to newcomers for a small fee.

The Club is located at Channels Golf Club, and arrangements are made for indoor shooting at St John Payne School during the Winter months. The Club meets each Wednesday at 6pm (outdoors April to September), each Wednesday at 7pm (indoors September to March), and on Sundays at 10am all year.
